The female body represents Mother Earth. It is a fundamental element of the entire scene. The big volume of the women's body was chosen to evoke the greatness and importance of the ground. Her still position represents stability, serenity, safety and certainty. Her body shape creates an illusion of valley, hill and gorge. Everything that Earth can create. I have chosen tones of red and warm colours of soil and peat. The Mother Earth is wearing women's underwear. This fashion accessory is supposed to point out seduction - fertilization by seeds of vegetation.
The sharp and pointed shape of the plant is a hidden symbol of the male gender in this painting. The large quantity of vegetation, demonstrates how much Mother Earth procreated and also how much she will procreate. I wanted to point out the difference between the soft shapes of Mother Earth and the sharp edges of the plants (the difference between woman and man). It does not focus on deepened perspective by another element. There is an imaginary space behind the plants. Everything is immersed into atmosphere of summer in the afternoon hours, just before the sunset.
